Surrounded by 240 hectares of cork forest, this boutique rural retreat comprises 4 luxurious private individual villas and 4 ‘Nature Hideaways’ – beautifully restored 1970’s mobile homes, providing the utmost in comfort, seclusion and proximity to nature.

The Nespereira Estate has been created with the modern holiday-maker in mind, one that expects comfort and luxury, convenience and sophistication but also one that is mindful of the environment and nature. Each of the properties on the estate has been highly insulated with local cork and rammed earth. The traditional building technique in the area has been used to restore the Taipas Houses, offering the highest geothermic values possible, keeping the properties cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Each site has been positioned to take advantage of the cool coastal breezes, and with night-time temperatures relatively low, each site remains pleasantly cool during the day.
